IT Consulting Company

Posted in General Hub Bub by Green People on the January 31st, 2008

If ever we had a need for a company like this at the office. Our current IT Guy doesn’t offer us the support that I wish we could find from an IT consulting company. I personally think that we would do better to hire outside of the current area but my boss has other plans. With an IT company you want to know that your employees and data information is going to be well up to date with the programs and software you are using. Having the right IT people to back that up is a must. With Fast teks we could have had all of our services through one company and believe me that would have made my life a lot easier. I am the go to person for everything that goes wrong at the office with any of the computers and systems. If we have the right IT guy I wouldn’t have to do all the extra work with no extra pay!!

Money Fans

Posted in General Hub Bub by Green People on the January 30th, 2008

If you are a fan of money and you like to have it then you know all too well about protecting your assets. There are things like mortgage life insurance that can keep you from getting into financial trouble with your investments. Being a fan of money myself I wanted to get some more of it and put it in that jar over top the fridge. We have formulated a few ways that we can cut corners in our lives to make room for some savings. This should prove to be a very interesting time for us because we are used to doing what we like to do and not holding back. This new method of savings will allow us to save some serious money in a short amount of time.

My Buddy Chris

Posted in General Hub Bub by Green People on the January 30th, 2008

My buddy Chris is a tattoo artist and he is always looking for places to get supplies. There was a local company here that offers plenty of products like exam gloves and inks that Chris needed but they never had them in stock! What kind of company is that? Well I found a new way and a new place to get the supplies to Chris and I think I am going to have to mention it to him the next time I see him. I don’t think he has considered all of the options that are out there for getting his supplies for tattooing. I have to make a mental note to remind myself to let him know!

Customize Your Life

Posted in General Hub Bub by Green People on the January 30th, 2008

Having your own style imprinted on things around your house seems to be the natural order of things. People are always looking for ways to display family members and pets on their walls as decorations. My mom was talking about custom printed calendars with pictures they took of the deer that wonder around their yard. Having a little slice of your everyday life mounted on your wall seems like a pretty nice way to let people know what it is that you see which they may not. They make for great conversational pieces as well!

Show Off

Posted in Glass Masters by Green People on the January 21st, 2008

We wanted to go to CES this year and check out some of the cool electronics and whatnot that are coming out. I tell you .. some of those trade show booths are so extravagant that you gat a real sense of the products that they are promoting. Instead of getting to go this time around I had to stay home and watch the little ones. I still got to see some of it via the video feeds that some people had down there. It’s nice living in the city where most of these conventions take place. We get to see a lot more than most people that live in other parts of the country.

Keep it Covered

Posted in General Hub Bub by Green People on the January 21st, 2008

I thought that the sun wouldn’t bother our new car that much since it is usually in the shade during the day. Little did I know that I would have to deal with hail again this year and with the new car we are not taking any chances with the crazy weather we are having. I bought two car covers this time, one for the winter and one for the summer. There is a difference believe it or not!

The one I got for the winter is just for cold weather. Better protection against hail and show. The summer one is made specifically for the heat of the hot hot desert. It helps to keep the heat out and the inside temperature of the car is kept down so that when you get in you are not frying your brain for twenty minutes while the air conditioner kicks in. That was a great idea!

Baby Furniture

Posted in General Hub Bub by Green People on the January 21st, 2008

When you are having a baby the first thing that comes to mind is baby furniture. Finding the best baby furniture is a big step in making your newborn comfortable. You are going to want to make them comfortable so that you can get some sleep in those long first few months. We must have went through ten stores and looked at 100 baby cribs before we could decide on the one for our little bundle of joy.

We wanted to get a few things for our baby that match and that could be used throughout the years. We finally decided on a baby crib that converted down the road to a twin size bed for our little man when he got bigger. That was probably the smartest thing we could have done. He is growing like a weed and I’m sure he will be needing the extra room in no time! Luxury seems like it is getting more and more affordable for the little joy that is coming into your life. We bought our baby crib, a dresser and a changing table and saved more money that we would have trying to buy them all separately. I think we got a great deal and if you shop smart you will to!
